“ First time eating here, I ordered sweet tea w/ lemon, sampler with pulled pork and ribs, comes with 2 sides: I chose potato salad and Brunswick stew with Texas toast. Let me tell you this place had me feeling like a flying pig walking out! The food is just delicious and the staff are down home good folk! Really enjoyed it and will be coming back soon! ”
“ We tried When Pigs Fly BBQ yesterday at lunch time. We were seated right away even though the restaurant was busy. We were very impressed to see the honor wall for all branches of military and firefighters. The food was delicious and plentiful. 3 of the 4 of us had to take the rest of our lunch home! The hostess, waitress and manager were all friendly. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. ”
“ I decided Saturday to go in and have lunch here and I sure did enjoy it! I was served by a sweet girl named Miranda and she took amazing care of me! My drink was never empty and she made sure I was fully satisfied with my experience! I ordered the Chicken Tender salad and it was delicious! A nice size portion and great flavor! I’ve had other menu items from here before and everything is so delicious and the portions are a great size! This is a great place for a lunch or for dinner! “ Was in Monroe today, and finally got to try When Pigs Fly BBQ, after hearing good things. First, this place is HUGE, and despite that, it was still packed, and for good reason. The staff here was pleasant and very helpful. I ordered take-out, and they served me very quickly. I ordered the Pulled Pork Plate, with Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans. The pork was excellent. Well cooked, and with the suite sauce it was fantastic. The baked beans were great; sweet and tangy, and the Mac & Cheese was some of the best I have ever had. Overall, this place is top-notch! ”

“ Great little place in Monroe for good food and a great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our meal. We had the chicken, stew, potato salad, green beans, slaw, and brisket for dinner. Food was hot fresh and service was spot on from the start. For dessert we had the banana pudding (homemade in house everyday) very good with a cup of coffee. Stop by and give them a try if you are in downtown Monroe, Georgia. 5 stars for When Pigs Fly BBQ! ”
